ONE-EYED HORSE
In 2018 her mare Viscera underwent surgery for uveitis and had her left eye removed. "Just when we removed the eye, I did not think she could compete in cross-country. I had seen that there were jumping and dressage horses that did well with just one eye, but you would think that it would be difficult in the terrain and with narrow obstacles. How will she have time to see? But I actually notice no difference at all. She has a tremendous amount of self-confidence, which probably helps. 'Vischy' is very quick in thought and eager to find her way between the flags. In the beginning, I wanted to take the turns extra so that she would have time to see. MOVE TO ENGLAND
