WEB SERIES
She was one of six Swedish athletes featured in a web series titled 'Tillsammans till OS i Tokyo' [Together for the Olympic Games in Tokyo]. The series was produced by the Swedish Olympic Committee [SOK] ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games, and could be watched on the OlympiaAppen mobile application. "The viewers will get to take part in my elite investment with training sessions and competitions as well as the training of my new horses. They will also take part in my family life in the country [in Warendorf, Germany], and our enormous project with the renovation and construction of our own training facility." (sok.se, 07 Dec 2020; hippson.se, 03 Dec 2020)

CAR FIRE
In May 2019 she was travelling to Sweden from a competition in Poland when a fire broke out in her horse transport. Two horses - Chackos Crack and Apertina - were in transit at the time. Chackos Crack died at the scene while Apertina passed away a few days later, having sustained severe burns. "I was hoping the other horse would survive. Suddenly I was told she was dead. It was incredibly difficult. I thought it was enough with what happened on the highway. It's a huge financial loss. It will be difficult to come back. The value of a horse is hard to replace. And it is especially difficult to find a horse as well trained as those two." (dn.se, 23 May 2019; newsbeezer.com, 23 May 2019)

TRYON WITHDRAWAL
She withdrew from the 2018 World Equestrian Games [WEG] in Tryon, NC, United States of America, after the dressage phase due to concerns about the welfare of her horse Wega. "I sadly announce that Wega and I have retired. She had a hard time with the flight and quarantine and didn't drink enough. Blood tests showed that, with the very hot weather and high humidity, she had not totally recovered yet and I don't want to risk her health." (grandprix-replay.com, 15 Sep 2018)

FROM SWEDEN TO GERMANY
In 2008 she quit the office job that she had held for 13 years in order to follow in her older sister Linda's footsteps and relocate to Germany. She moved three of the family horses to Warendorf and began living with her partner [now husband] Frank Ostholt. She felt her riding had reached its limit in Sweden and hoped to take part in bigger competitions. "I wanted to give myself the chance to see how much I could develop before I got too old."
