At age 10 she joined the Western Australia Institute of Sport [WAIS] to compete in gymnastics before moving on to diving. "When I look back on my gym career my coaches pretty much shaped who I was and the athlete I am and I'm forever grateful." (wais.org.au, 24 Jan 2019)

MOVE TO ADELAIDE
In 2018 she moved to Adelaide, SA, Australia, to study biomedical science at the University of Adelaide to continue her diving career with the hope of competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "My goal is medicine but I knew that I couldn't really reach the heights of medicine students because I was only at school for about two thirds of the year. I never really thought I'd be moving so soon, I thought it would be later this year [2019] but the opportunity arose at the end of last year to move. I thought this could be a really good opportunity for me to go and start my degree in biomedical science instead rather than postponing. I'll be studying full-time but probably only 75% which still comes under full-time but just dropping one unit so that I can focus a bit more on diving with synchro my biggest target for Tokyo 2020."
