She withdrew from the 1m springboard final at the 2019 European Championships in Kyiv, Ukraine, due to a back injury. She had been affected by pain in her back since April that year. (sportfair.it, 10 Aug 2019)

"I entered the world of diving almost by accident at age five. I was attending a swimming course and at the end of each workout they made us jump into the water in a life jacket. I was the only one who jumped higher and higher without fear. At age five, I showed skills in diving but not in swimming.
