She practised gymnastics from age four and also did swimming. One day, during time off during her swimming lesson, she jumped from the 3m springboard and liked the experience. "Everything changed that day. I said 'this is my stuff,' and immediately I wanted to jump from the 5m platform and then the 7m platform. I was confident one day I would jump from the 10m platform."
