Julie Leth and Amalie Dideriksen teamed up in 2018 and had immediate success, securing gold at that year's European championships in Glasgow. They claimed bronze at their next major tournament together - the 2019 World Championships in Pruszkow - before successfully defending their European title at the 2019 edition in Apeldoorn. Leth and Dideriksen missed the podium at the 2020 World Championships in Berlin, finishing with a final ranking of fifth.
Dideriksen also has major tournament experience competing with Trine Schmidt. That pairing finished fourth at both the 2017 European Championships and the 2018 World Championships.
