Annette Edmondson and Georgia Baker are competing at a major international tournament together for the first time at Tokyo 2020. They were runners-up at the Australian national championships that took place in February 2021.

Both riders have had success as part of another pair. Baker claimed silver at the 2019 World Championships in Pruszkow competing alongside Amy Cure, while Edmondson and Cure were gold medallists at the 2016 Oceania Championships in Melbourne.
