ENDURANCE
He switched from sprint events to endurance following the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro as a result of surgery he had required on his waist area ahead of the Games. "After the Rio Olympics, I turned my career around and left the sprint events. My doctor insisted that weight training should be a thing of the past, [so I changed] from a sprinter to endurance and a made a drastic change of [training] programme again from the beginning.
