He moved from Suriname to Miami, FL, United States of America in the mid-2010s to further his cycling career. "I needed professional structures to be able to train in the right way and, then, together with my brother, I went to the United States where, for the first time in my career, I started training as a professional." OLYMPIC SUPPORT
His parents have supported him financially with his ambition of competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "It would have been very difficult for my parents without some help, so they set up the 'Sprint2Tokyo' foundation and with that they do some fundraising.
