She has represented Germany in track cycling, and finished eighth in the women's team pursuit at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. In October 2017 she fractured the humerus bone in her left arm after crashing in the women's team pursuit at the 2017 European Track Cycling Championships in Berlin, Germany.
