CHANGE IN THE SPORT
He is happy to have helped grow the sport of cycling in Panama. "I am proud to see that my results have helped change the course of Panamanian cycling, which as a national sport is growing enormously. When I started there were 30 or 50 in the pack and now there are 300 or 400 people, most of them youngsters. Cycling is now a very popular sport in Panama and I am excited to see so many young people. Today we make a difference, there are manners, values in our children from a young age.
