She rode the track for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo in a test race there in 2019. "The track is not exactly what I like, however, when there is form, I can ride any track. I know I've got a few rests there - some jumps and rock gardens. Now I'll have more time to look at it calmly, so I'll see if I can get down to it. However, overall the track is very specific, it is not similar to any track in the world. It's cut into five short, steep and relatively fast exits, and actually right at the top it breaks and runs into some kind of technique, whether it's stairs or some rocky section. Everyone's talking about it [the heat], but it's hard to tell how it's going to be there. I've had some races where they said it was going to be so hot, but in the end it's never been bad. I'm not letting anything distract me yet, and I think if I'm well prepared, I'll be able to ride both in winter and in extreme heat." (mtbs.cz, 19 Jul 2021)
