Initially a triathlete, she bumped into a group of cyclists who then introduced her to mountain biking. She immediately fell in love with the sport. "One day I went mountain bike riding and I'll never forget it - I had a few falls and was battered and bruised, but when I got home I told my husband it was the most awesome ride.
