General Interest

General
CHANGE OF DIET
In September 2020 she announced that she had been provisionally suspended by the International Cycling Union [UCI] after she returned an adverse analytical finding for the banned substance boldenone in a doping test in March 2020. She argued the substance entered her body after consuming contaminated meat and in May 2021 it was announced that the UCI had lifted her suspension. She says the experience pushed her to change her nutrition plan and she no longer consumes meat. "Once I knew it was caused by a contaminated meat I immediately stopped eating it and changed all what I had in the fridge. My parents and sister also changed in order to help me. I liked to eat meat, chicken, pork. But it is a risk that could get me into this situation again, and I just don't want to have any risk."
