RETIREMENT PLAN
He says he will retire from elite competition after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "I'm done after the Olympics. I have been doing BMX since I was four years old, and now I am 25. It is a sport where I have done everything I can to be the best possible, so in that sense it will be a little strange. I will probably always ride a little BMX to have fun. You should also not rule out that I will compete at the national championships. There will also be a World Cup event the weekend after the Olympics, so maybe I will throw myself in there. If I win in Tokyo, I think I will never touch the BMX bike again." (tv2.no, 16 Jun 2021)
