"When I was in the third grade, we had a sport day in school. We went to club Adria and there I found out about canoeing. I began training, became a member of Kajak Kanu Klub Adria Ankaran and one week later I took part in my first competition, finishing in second place. She began paddling with fellow Slovenian paddler Spela Ponomarenko-Janic in October 2016. "I worked at a bar and read an article about Spela. I sent a message to her and immediately in October 2016 I joined her in training. I regret that I didn't decide to do it earlier, but better late than never.
