Her younger brother Artuur Peters has represented Belgium in canoe sprint and placed sixth in the K1 5000m at the 2019 World Championships in Szeged, Hungary. Her older brother William Peters competed in canoe marathon for Belgium at both the world and European championships in 2016. He also won a European title in quadrathlon in 2017.
