HAIR COLOUR TRADITION
After joining the German senior canoe sprint team in 2019, she dyed her hair with pink and blue streaks. Athletes dying their hair is a tradition for newcomers to the German senior canoe sprint team. "We do not talk about the details of this baptism, but we do like it a lot. It shows that you now belong to the senior team and it is the team's way of congratulating you on being a member."
