RETIREMENT THOUGHTS
He plans to retire from competition after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, which will be his fourth Games. He is yet to win an Olympic medal. "I am very sure that I will win a medal in Tokyo, I feel very good physically." He intends to stay involved in the sport as a coach. "Canoeing is something that will be always be in my life.
