Her younger brother Anatole has competed in canoe slalom at World Cup level, and won gold in the K1 event at the 2019 World Junior and U23 Championships in Krakow, Poland. Her younger sister Doriane has also competed in canoe slalom at international level, and won gold and silver medals at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina. POSITIVE POSTPONEMENT
She said the postponement of the Olympic Games in Tokyo to 2021 ultimately worked in her favour, as it gave her extra time to train ahead of the French Olympic selection competition that was rescheduled to October 2020. "The postponement of the Olympics was a good opportunity for me. The [French] Olympic qualification tournament is normally held in March and I thought that would have been very difficult for me in 2020.
