She competed in athletics when she was younger as her parents loved sport, particularly the marathon. She decided to switch sports after watching a boxing tournament. "I asked my mother if we could watch the competition together. At that time she thought that I would feel scared to get involved in the sport, but I was fascinated by female boxers.
