POSITIVE POSTPONEMENT
She says the postponement of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo due to the COVID-19 pandemic has worked in her favour, as she could have shoulder surgery in August 2020 with time to recover. She had her operation the same day as partner Ana Gallay had her own shoulder surgery. "I had a SLAP tear in my shoulder that caused weakness and stiffness in the joint and it was unstable. I was training, but I knew that if I did not have surgery I could have to stop at any moment and would not be able to play for a long time." (pagina12.com.ar, 13 Jul 2021)

PARTNER
She competes alongside Ana Gallay, who competed at the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016. "Ana has a lot of experience and that helped us so much to begin with, as a duo and in solving problems during games. When I started I was raw. OLYMPIC SIBLINGS
Her older brother Federico was selected to represent Argentina in indoor volleyball at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "Federico has always been an example for me to follow, since he was in the youth teams and of course now that he is at the top level in the senior national team. Competing together at the Olympic Games was a distant dream, but now the opportunity is there." She says they both owe much to their parents. "As children we did not have much money or opportunity, and my parents always made an effort for us to do sport and we took advantage of it. Today everything is happy and they are really proud.
