TOKYO POSTPONEMENT
She considers the postponement of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo due to the COVID-19 pandemic had a positive effect for her, as she could have surgery on her shoulder in August 2020 and have time to recover. "I had an injury to my shoulder. I was training but I knew that [if I did not have surgery] at any moment I would have to stop and not play for a long time. She teamed up with Fernanda Pereyra in 2018 in order to participate at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She considers she was the right person to choose. "In Fernanda I found a player who suits me perfectly. When I met her, she was not training in beach volleyball and I was already thinking about quitting the sport. Imagine that with Georgina Klug [her previous partner] we were in 11th place in the world rankings, and suddenly we went down in the chart. After that, I had to start completely from scratch, but what I liked the most about Fernanda is that she is always ready to go forward. She is always very positive and agrees to do many things other athletes would not even consider. It is not easy to find a person to accompany you in these crazy things."
