From 2001 to 2004 he served as assistant coach for Southern University in the NCAA in the United States of America. He was then head coach for LeFlore High School in Alabama from 2004 to 2010. He was an assistant coach with the NBA's Sacramento Kings from 2010 to 2011, and in 2015 he was appointed head coach of the Chinese Taipei women's national team. In 2019 he worked as a special assistant coach for the women's team at Auburn University in Alabama.
