TIME ABROAD
He relocated to the United States of America after finishing middle school in Japan, and played for Montrose Christian School in Rockville, Maryland. He returned to Japan in 2013 and made his B.League debut with Akita Northern Happinets that year. In October 2014 he signed for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA and played for their affiliate club, the Texas Legends, until 2015. "There were two turning points in my sporting career. The first one was moving to the USA at age 15, and the second one was making my professional debut without entering university after returning to Japan. These experiences helped me to take on another challenge of the NBA in 2014."
