REPRESENTING ITALY
She was born in Albuquerque, NM, United States of America, to a US father and an Italian mother. She began representing Italy in 2017, a year after she was spotted while on a family holiday in Italy. "While we were seeing my family in Italy in 2016, my dad looked up softball leagues to practise with while we were there, which led to the coach from the league putting me in contact with the Italian national coach. I am a dual citizen of the United States and Italy. My mother is Italian, and her whole side of the family still lives in Italy. The Olympics was always such a dream to me, and when they cut our sport from the Olympics, it became less of a dream. However, when they added it again, I still never thought I would have this opportunity to represent Italy in the Olympics." (fibs.it, 01 Sep 2019; abqjournal.com, 27 Jul 2019; unm.edu, 09 Aug 2019)

FUTURE PLANS
Outside of sport, she aspired to attend medical school and pursue a career in medicine. (New Mexico Lobos Facebook page, 13 Dec 2018; golobos.com, 23 Feb 2021)
