REPRESENTING ITALY
She was born in the United States of America, and is eligible to play for Italy through her late grandfather who was born in Abruzzo, Italy. It took her three years to complete all the paperwork needed to apply for Italian citizenship. "There were multiple times when I didn't think it was going to happen. Everyone on the Italian side of my family is deceased besides my dad and his sister, so figuring out birthdays and marriages was extremely difficult because no one knew where the papers were." She received Italian citizenship in 2019, just days before the Olympic qualification tournament in the Netherlands. She picked up her Italian passport in Miami, FL, and took a flight to Italy the same night to join the Italian team. "I had been with the team for maybe three or four days before the [Olympic] qualifier began. I was very nervous about how the chemistry would be with me coming to the team so late, but when I got there, my teammates welcomed me with open arms. [After we earned qualification] I thought about my grandfather and how proud he would have been. I have always been proud to be Italian. I'm proud of my last name and where I come from." (softballamerica.com, 01 Aug 2019)

CLUB CAREER
She was drafted by the Chicago Bandits in the 2016 National Pro Fastpitch Draft. She played three seasons for Chicago before being traded to the Cleveland Comets in late 2018. In 2019 she was traded to the USSSA Pride. COACH
In 2017 she joined the coaching staff of Auburn University as a volunteer assistant coach. After two seasons she left to train for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo with the Italian national team, before being named Auburn University's assistant coach in July 2020. "I'm excited to be back with the Auburn family. There's no other place I'd rather be." (auburntigers.com, 01 Sep 2017; theplainsman.com, 15 Jul 2020)
