Her father Alex Parnov has worked as a coach. Her sister Vicky represented Australia in pole vault at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, while her aunt Tatiana Grigorieva won the silver medal in the pole vault at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. Her grandmother Natalya Chistyakova won bronze in the 400m for the Soviet Union at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City. Her twin sisters Alla and Natasha have competed in pole vault at national level in Australia.
