In the lead-up to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo he combined his training with studying for a bachelor's degree in mathematics and often studied between his training sessions. "I thought running and a university education would not be easy to combine. Now I'm actually very happy with it. It's good for me to have something besides working out.
