In September 2010 she began studying in the United States of America, and in 2012 she received a master's degree in exercise physiology at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Between 2013 and 2016 she worked as assistant track and field coach and recruiting coordinator at Tiffin University in Ohio, where she received another master's degree in forensic psychology. In the 2016/17 season she took up a position as assistant track and field and cross-country coach at the Elon University in North Carolina.
