General Interest

General
TOKYO GOALS
She is aiming to clear two metres in the high jump for the first time at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "Of course it would be nice to achieve my best performance in Japan and even to attack the two metre mark. Sure, of course. As a competitive athlete, I want to jump more and more, higher and higher. After my previous achievements, suddenly being at the forefront is no longer unrealistic." (bzbasel.ch, 04 Jul 2021; swiss-athletics.ch, 27 Jun 2021)

OLYMPIC INSPIRATION
She says she was inspired to compete at a senior edition of the Olympic Games following her participation at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, People's Republic of China. "At age 16 I became part of the Olympic movement for the first time at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. It became clear to me, I want to experience this event again at the Olympic Games. The values of respect and fair play, combined with the fighting spirit to get the best out of yourself inspired me. At that time, I set myself the goal, I want to be there in Tokyo 2020."
