In October 2020 he began training with Bowerman Track Club in Portland, OR, United States of America. "Physically, I feel the training was more intense than in college, so it took some time to get the body used to that. I felt like every week I was working a little harder to stay healthy. Every coach I talk to seems to only say good things about [coach] Jerry Schumacher and the group. He seems to know exactly what we need at what time in terms of workouts.
