DIAMOND LEAGUE CUT
In 2019, the International Association of Athletics Federations [IAAF] announced they would be cutting the 3000m steeplechase from several Diamond League meetings in 2020. The event will also be held outside the 90-minute live television broadcast window and will not be among the end-of-year final. She said she was stunned by the decision. "This is killing careers for athletes who had specialised in the event. We have to focus on the Olympics [now] because there is no more final in the Diamond League.
