RIO EXPERIENCE
After turning 17 during her debut at an Olympic Games at the 2016 edition in Rio de Janeiro, she has fond memories of her experience despite missing out on a place in the final of the 400m hurdles. "It was a whirlwind of an experience. Definitely not something I was expecting to do that summer, but it was just such a great opportunity to really have a peek into the life that I wanted for myself and my pro career. Being able to just get that first-hand experience so young, I really am grateful for it because it just shaped how I looked at things, moving forward, and just my mindset going into big events like that."
