"I was a gymnast when I was younger and loved anything involving adrenaline and upper body strength. I begged my coaches for days to let me go try it [pole vault]. General Interest

General
COLLEGIATE CAREER
She studied and competed at the University of Dayton in the United States of America for two years before moving to Ashland University for her final two years of study. "My coach at Dayton left after my second year. I always said that if he went anywhere, I'd transfer to Ashland. I had friends that went there, I really liked the coach [Denny Steele] and they have a great track programme. It was the best thing for my career. I'm fairly certain that if I hadn't transferred, I would not be at this level." (goashlandeagles.com, 07 Mar 2018; citiusmag.com, 21 Feb 2018; au-live.com, 22 Aug 2019)

OTHER STUDIES
Besides her main bachelor's degree in psychology, she also studied fashion merchandising at Ashland University. She spent time at the Paris Fashion Institute in France in 2013. "I was lucky enough to complete a fashion programme in Paris during Paris Fashion Week. We created our own collection and evaluated the high-end designers' work. We even got to help dress the models for some of the shows." (Facebook profile, 06 Jul 2019; athletebiz.us, 01 Jan 2018; teamusa.org, 24 Feb 2019)
