In 2021 he graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in the United States of America. Previously he had majored in engineering at Essex County College but his coach discouraged him, believing it would be too difficult to manage, so he studied psychology after transferring to Florida State University. "Just being good at it [electrical engineering], I wanted to further my knowledge in that field. I've been a student athlete all my life. I've learned to set aside time for track and school."
