General Interest

General
CAMEROON TO PORTUGAL
In 2016 she decided to leave Cameroon to seek improved training conditions and relocated to Morocco where she trained with coach Mohamed Fatihi. A year later she moved to Leiria, Portugal, to join coach Paulo Reis, and in 2019 she became a Portuguese national. "I love the country and the people and since I arrived here in 2017 everybody has been so nice to me. In Leiria I found all the conditions to improve as a thrower and reach all the goals I have set for myself. My child was born here and Portugal is where I intend to live long after my career has ended." BECOMING A MOTHER
She gave birth to her son in June 2018. "[Becoming a mother] has made me more open to seeing things from another perspective. I now have an extra motivation to fight not only for myself but also my son. This has made me more resilient and more focused in my desire to achieve better results." (worldathletics.org, 02 Mar 2021)
