In 2007 she was competing in a club competition when she lost grip while upside down in the air and fell head first into the pit. She had to stay in hospital for two days, and spent another 10 days in bed at home. She returned to training two weeks later. (IAAF, 01 Feb 2016)

She gave birth to her daughter in 2017, and quickly returned to training. "Changes in my body were tolerated well, probably due to my high physical condition. I believe exercising for women before becoming pregnant, and also during their pregnancy, is beneficial. Getting back in shape was also not a problem.
