She sustained an injury six weeks before the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. (proudtobeathletic.com, 24 Mar 2020)

In 2007 she was competing in a club competition when she lost grip while upside down in the air and fell head first into the pit. She had to stay in hospital for two days, and spent another 10 days in bed at home. She returned to training two weeks later. (IAAF, 01 Feb 2016)
