Her partner Urh Stupar has also represented Slovenia in athletics. (Instagram profile, 31 Dec 2020; worldathletics.org, 2020)
:
She first took part in athletics at elementary school. "Even before I started training, I won school competitions. At school, I was advised to try my hand at athletics. I overtook the boys too. To be honest, I overtook most of the guys. Although I was better in cross-country at the time than in sprints." (mojspan.si, 15 Jan 2019)
:
She felt the 400m event best suited her natural abilities. "The 400m became my discipline because I was a little too slow in the 200m. I'm not explosive and fast enough. In the 800m, endurance is a bit more important. The 400m is the mix of speed and endurance that is in my DNA and that is why I decided on this distance." (mojspan.si, 15 Jan 2019)
:
To compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. (mojspan.si, 15 Jan 2019)
:
Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. (mojspan.si, 15 Jan 2019)
