He grew in a family that was passionate about sport. At the end of 2011, he took up athletics under the guidance of coach Ismail Macev. "I grew up in a sporting family, my father was a weightlifter. I started practising karate and then football for four clubs, but football wasn't for me. I took up athletics alone. One day I woke up and went to Marakana [the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade, Serbia, where the Crvena Zvezda club is based]. When I stood on the track, I imagined that I was at the Olympic Games and the eyes of the whole world were on me." (jst400.com, 2020; mms.mk, 07 Jun 2021)

FROM SERBIA TO NORTH MACEDONIA
He was born and raised in Serbia. His father is from North Macedonia. He previously represented Serbia, but after he was not called up to the Serbian national team for two years, he made the switch to represent North Macedonia following discussions with his father and his coach. "My wish was to transfer to North Macedonia. In 2018, I received all the documents, and from 2019 I began competing for the athletics team of North Macedonia." (jst400.com, 2020; mms.mk, 07 Jun 2021; sportclub.mk, 07 Jun 2021)

LOSS OF COACH
In early 2019 his first coach Ismail Macev passed away. "I didn't know what exactly I was going to train in, except that it would be running. I went to coach Ismail Macev, a legend, and spent eight years with him. I remember my first meeting with Macev, he came out to the front of the stadium. He told me to bring shorts and a T-shirt and a towel and to come to training." (jst400.com, 2020; mms.mk, 07 Jun 2021)

MUSICIAN
In 2021 he released a song under the name JST400 titled 'Atletika' [Athletics]. "Recently I recorded a song about athletics, which has an accompanying video. I wrote the lyrics myself. And I will not stop there, more songs are being prepared." (kurir.rs, 22 Jun 2021, 22 Jun 2021)
