She did not take up athletics until 2015, and she is due to represent Belgium at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo without having competed at another major international tournament such as the European championships or the world championships. "I once said that I would quit athletics after I competed at the Olympics. But [qualification] has already been achieved and I don't want to stop next year at all.
