FROM KENYA TO FRANCE
Born in Kapsabet, Kenya, she left Kenya in 2004 and eventually moved to Lyon, France in 2009. "Some acquaintances advised me to come to Lyon because many Kenyans had already moved there. I found an apartment and then I enrolled in the Lyon Athletisme club. However, I struggled to achieve good results, so I ended up working as a school cleaner as well."
