CHANGE IN COACH
In the European winter of 2019/20 he left his coach of five years, Jean Claude Vollmer, to work with a new coach, Bernard Faure. "At a training camp in Reunion this winter [2019/20], I felt like I wasn't going in the right direction, notably with an accumulation of fatigue and a feeling of over-training. So I wanted to change things. Bernard is an ex-marathon runner who has trained numerous French athletes. His training sessions have a lot of volume but are very well-structured.
