Reason:

She could not do gymnastics in the summer, so her mother enrolled her at the local athletics club. "I actually liked athletics pretty quickly. It was very basic in Hvide Sande with the training on grass, but I thought it was fun to compete. So much fun that I ended up going to a sports academy in Vejle, and later in Aarhus to train more." She was officially adopted by her foster parents in 2015 and changed her name to Mette Laugesen Graversgaard at age 25. "I would like to be open about why I have added Laugesen to my name.
