MEDAL UPGRADE
In 2019 she was upgraded from third place to the silver medal position of the shot put event of the 2018 South American Games in Cochabamba, Bolivia, after Chilean shot putter Natalia Duco returned an adverse analytical finding. (rededoesporte.gov.br, 13 Jun 2019)

SANCTION
In October 2010 she was temporarily suspended after testing positive for the prohibited substance hydrochlorothiazide at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Moncton, NB, Canada. She claimed the failed test was caused by a tea she had been drinking to stop her from gaining weight. In March 2011 the disciplinary commission of the Brazilian Athletics Confederation [CBAt] issued her a warning for the offence, but did not give her a suspension. The national anti-doping agency of CBAt appealed the decision to the Superior Court of Sports Justice [STJD] in Brazil, but in August 2011 they upheld the original sanction of a warning. The ruling allowed her to return to competition, but she was stripped of the gold medal she had won in shot put at the event she failed the test.
