She trains on a daily basis alongside Venezuelan triple jumper Yulimar Rojas, also a member of the team coached by former Cuban long jumper, Ivan Pedroso. "Sometimes it is easy to deal with it and other times not. In general I consider it [training with Rojas] as an awesome opportunity, being able to train alongside the now all-time best. I need to give my 100%. When she broke the [indoor] world record I said, 'Geez, I have to beat her at the Olympics!' It's not easy to get to your room and to think that the next day I have to train with Yuli.
