Her older sister Lena represented Germany in modern pentathlon, winning a gold medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and securing multiple titles at the world championships. Her twin sister Rabea also competes in athletics and was selected as a reserve for Germany in the women's marathon at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
