He cut short his 2019/20 indoor season to focus on preparation for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, but following the postponement of the Games he ended up spending four months in Denmark. "If I had known about COVID then I would probably have planned for a full indoor season [in 2019/20]. I was in great shape before COVID hit.
