LACK OF SUPPORT
He has run around 60 marathons but has struggled to receive financial support. In Mongolia he had to train wearing two tracksuits due to the cold weather, leading him to spend time in Japan and the United Kingdom. "Marathon running is not a popular sport in Mongolia. Still, sometimes I get support from some organisations, but much of the time, I spend from my own pocket. It can be costly and one cannot hope to win good prize money in every race, to cover expenses. But I keep pushing myself to do better."
