ILLNESS
In January 2020 he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, an incurable inflammatory bowel disease [IBD]. "The disease is not visible on the outside, but it is incurable. Symptoms include diarrhoea, and abdominal pain. Anaemia and fatigue are also common. Fortunately, my own symptoms are not the worst. I will not change in any way with this diagnosis, and our goals will not change in one direction or the other.
